Hello everyone. In this report I will mention again the importance our Trainers do each week, to have everyone fit and ready to play the sport they love, be it Football/Netball etc.
We are usually the first one`s there and the last to leave, as well as training nights, updating/stocking medical supplies, cleaning etc, not forgetting to make sure we are fully up to date with our Medical/Trainers Qualifications. Much of what we do is voluntary to our clubs and I personally thank you all for your dedication/time given towards your Club, the Alberton F N L Trainers Association and Alberton Football Netball League, especially with the finals only a week away. There is always that extra pressure and awareness which is finals football/netball, all the best for those involved and good luck.
There is another item I need to bring up again which has been mentioned over previous years and throughout this year, that is as Trainers we come under the League Rulings, be it our Qualifications to participate as a Trainer at a Club that Represents this League, (AFL VIC Country Ruling states at least 1 Qualified Trainer), the Uniform we wear which is approved by the League is also mentioned in the Rulings of the League that, as Trainers, (We are Officials Representing the League) our Duty is to give the Best Professional Care available as Trainers and be Presentable/Neat/Tidy Attire whilst under the Leagues Umbrella, (also AFL VIC Country Ruling). As of recently the League made it a Ruling that there has to be at Least 1 Member (Trainer) of this Association for correspondence etc. This leads me to the matter of a small amount of Trainers are failing to wear the Correct Uniform whilst representing this League which to me is very disappointing to see and to be informed by fellow Trainers from other clubs of what is occurring. We all need to lift our game so to speak, we should all know the Rules so please adhere to them. Thank you. (You could be sent off the ground if you fail to abide by these Rules). NO white shirts/jackets with TRAINER on back PLEASE! (white shirts/jackets are for First aid medical personnel, also water carriers wear them. They are the only ones that should be wearing them).
Any Questions please call me on 0409748022 thank you. Those wanting to go to our end of season dinner please call me no later than the 4th of 9th 2013 on 0409748022. I will also have Venue details.
