Election of President: Nominations for President were George Bovell,(Alberton) nominated by Bev Kohlman,(Fish Creek), and 2nd Gary Best,(Korumburra/Bena),
Position will be noted as President/Secretary all Members showed their hands unanimously with this title, G.Bovell spoke at length with mention this would be his Last year as President, this will be his 7th year and believes there should be New Blood to take on this position in the future, so if anyone is interested don’t hesitate to have a chat with me by phone or in person.
General Committee: if you are interested to step up a level in the Association, or if you think you can add something extra towards our Association please give me a call or talk to us at one of our monthly meetings we would love you to come on board.

Business Arising: Discuss our Future Monthly Meeting Places, all Members agreed to spread it around, at the moment we have Fish Creek FNC; Korumburra/Bena FNC; Korumburra Community Centre; Inverloch/Kongwak FNC; Fish Creek Hotel (No Alcoholic drinks to be consumed while meetings are on). Discuss the importance of having a Working With Children Card and the penalties for not having one especially if working with Minors at a club etc.
Discuss our alignment with SMA.
Correspondence: IN/OUT: Over the break we have been very fortunate to acquire a Grant for a $1000 from SUPA IGA Leongatha, this has giving us our Trainers Caps for this year also sponsorship from TNT Explosive Prints for our Key Rings and Bumper Stickers and not to forget the discount we received from Logo`s Unlimited on embroidery/Caps, If you are in the area call in and support their businesses or give them a call they may have what you want.

League Report: Nil this stage apart from a meeting with Board of Management on the 19th of this month should have something to talk about next meeting.

General Business: G.Best mentioned that for the Junior League, would it be okay to use the Old Tri Coloured Jackets for Trainers to distinguish themselves on grounds, all Members agreed to go ahead with that suggestion.
G.Bovell mentioned that those requiring Passes/Stickers, Jackets and Shirts to do so know because the season is nearly with us, I will have Jackets, Shirts next meeting, don’t forget those that get their Membership EARLY will receive a Trainers Cap, Bumper Sticker and Key Ring with your $30 payment including all the other benefits that go with being a Member.

URGENT REQUEST: Those that would like to be part of this year’s InterLeague, please send me your details either by phone or email to my above contacts, so that we can sort out candidates for this year’s Inter-League games at Romsey (Riddell District Football League), played on the 24th May 2014 with U18`s and Seniors, in Football and Netball will also be playing on the day.
I need to know by next meeting if you have intentions, the League will be looking at only 3, maybe 4 Trainers, If you think you would be interested we are looking for enthusiastic Trainers, you will need to be a paid up Member of the Alberton Trainers Association to be eligible and tell us what you can do as a Trainer to make this a successful weekend for the Alberton Football Netball League.
The League are looking into transport and accommodation for this event and could well be going up on the Friday night with the games played on Saturday, I look forward to talking to Trainers that would like to be involved, remember these events are very special in that you are out of your comfort zones in saying that you will be rubbing shoulders with different Trainers, surroundings, meeting opposing teams, Trainers etc.
